Hi there, I’m Christy and this is my journey…

I’m a married mama with two lil boys, on a mission to HELP & INSPIRE others! If you’re like me, your journey in life has traveled down many different roads (some very rocky), yet all of our experiences (beautiful or not) have created this masterpiece of a person who we are today;  I am a brave, courageous & empowering woman AND if you don’t feel the same about yourself then we need to chat! I’m 100% about embracing the “ugly and fearful things” that so many are afraid to discuss.  What if, you faced that fear and said no more (#itstopswithyou)! You are in control of your own healing journey and I’m sharing mine to help empower you along yours. I’m a passionate + caring soul who has a unique story to share and I’ve stepped up and answered the calling in my heart to be a VOICE for others, my mission is to help INSPIRE & EMPOWER others!

I grew up in Ohio, where at a young age of 17, I survived a violent sexual assault. (Read “My Survivor Story” here.)  That day, my life and perspective on the world was forever changed. As awful as it was, I knew this would not define me or rob me of living a happy + healthy life.  I was resilient! I was in the driver’s seat of my own “healing journey” and I drove myself down many different healing paths (good + bad). I choose to be a warrior, and to THRIVE & SURVIVE! Trust me, my self-awareness was not always this clear but after 26 years of healing, my rear-view caption tells me I did something right.

I consider myself just an average stay at home mama (with a few side endeavors) who’s obsessed with drinking chai, Arbonne Energy Fizz Sticks & I’m living my best life with my family in Alton, NH.  You’ll typically find me floating on the boat on Lake Winnipesaukee with my family, perusing home décor stores, running or practicing yoga, gardening, taking time for self-care, surrounding myself with other energetic souls or leading some volunteer event in my local community!

My main goal EVERY DAY, is keeping my little boys alive (literally, they are crazy)! When I’m not on “mommy duty”, I’m busy helping my friends, family and clients turn their houses into cozy homes with organized, simplified & stylish living with my “Inspiration for Organization” business (a side hustle I’ve always loved). Or I’m inspiring an audience by sharing my survivor journey or empowering them with firearms education knowledge.

Motherhood is my most rewarding job (but by far, the hardest), but here’s a few others from my personal history book

  • After high school I had to leave the town where the attack occurred and I was craving to be a part of something bigger than myself, so why not “Fly High”?! I went on to serve honorably for over 20 years in the United States Air Force (Active Duty + Reserves). I spent a career as a Special Agent (criminal investigator) for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations and retired in 2017. I specialized in protective service operations where I protected high ranking U.S. and foreign officials (I know, it was very badass…). I also conducted countless sensitive and complex investigations that often had bearing on national security. The awards, medals & job titles were impressive, but it was the close relationships + those I served with that I cherish the most.

  • My career journey also included child abuse investigations with Children Service’s Offices across three states. Nothing will erase the awful things I’ve seen happen to children, but knowing I made a difference in their lives’ by protecting them and helping bring their offenders to justice, overshadows all of it!! To make a difference in the life of a child, will forever be my most cherished gift + greatest impact in this world!

  • People refer to my husband and I as “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, while funny, but it truly is not far from the truth (except we haven’t shot at one another, at least not yet… lol). I met my hubby, Adam Painchaud (Special Agent Ret.), on a government contracted firearms facility while attending specialized training, so it’s no surprise a few years later he encouraged me to share my talents as a firearms instructor alongside him at the Sig Sauer Academy from 2006-2016.

  • I found myself developing an absolute passion for teaching “women’s only” firearms training courses. I’ve witnessed several female students go from trembling and crying on the range to embracing their fear with absolute confidence + driving knot holes in their training targets. That is something I will forever want to be a part of, so I’ve continued to provide select training events throughout the year and I also offer private training by request.
