“Get Inspired”

Newsletter

2.14.2022

Well, that flew by fast, and by "that" I mean January and half of February!  I feel like there's never enough time in the day to do "all the things" on my "list"! I'm getting better at sticking to my weekly goals though (this newsletter being the one for this week, yay it's done)!  How many others out there set daily and /or weekly goals? For me, it works because once I see it (write it down), the more inclined I am to do it.  Speaking of writing it down! I just realized I didn't share my "word of the year" (How many of you do that with me?)!  I'll be honest, I struggled a bit to pick this...  For me, it's not a resolution but more of an intention or mantra to stick with for the year!

For 2022, my word is "REFRESH".  I choose this because this year I'm focusing on refreshing a few things in my business plan and also refreshing some things in my home (new paint, updates, addition, etc.).  While at the same time I feel I'm also needing to refresh some parenting skills as my boys are getting older and the old things that used to work with them doesn't anymore (Who else feels me on this one?).   Overall, the word just felt right for me this year.. and sometimes you just need to listen to that gut instinct!

As you scroll down, you'll see my Spring class + event schedule.  I'm also sharing some information about a local fun winter event, the Alton Bay Winter Carnival, which I've been working hard on with other volunteers from the Alton Business Association. If you're around this Sunday, please swing by and say hi!

Oooh and how cool is the view in the pic above (photo credit to my oldest son, Addy)?! It's me out at our camp on Lake Winnipesaukee... yes, I'm standing on the ICE (about 15" of ice to be exact) by my favorite rock that I swim to in the summer!  So beautiful right?!  These past few weeks, my family and I have been embracing the season with snowmobiling on the trails and across the ice out to our camp! This is the second season of riding a snowmobile for me and I'm loving it (not the rolling over part, lol) but loving the change + trying new things around the beautiful state I live in!

I hope the rest of your Winter season is filled with happy trails!  ~Christy
